Dr. Michael Jones and his wife, Dr. Laura Jones, are long-time LU professors who have been very successful at combining advanced research in their fields with ministry, especially missionary ministry. During this presentation Dr. Michael Jones will tell the story of how God led them to a life that combines fun, adventure, academics, and missions, dividing their time between Lynchburg and Romania and loving it. Torn between the desire to be university professors, on the one hand, and missionaries on the other, God has shown them that sometimes you actually can have your cake and eat it, too!
